If you haven't seen it, it's a guy in a pickup towing a horse trailer. The whole rig gets stuck in the mud. The rugged looking fellow in denim and a cowboy hat gets the horses out to pull the truck and trailer out. All to the viagra tune. And the metaphor is??? Or were they trying for a simile? Or is it obvious? Viagra provides horsepower. Also the target audience was NASCAR fans.

I went to a Sprint Cup race a few years ago in Vegas. It was a lot of fun. What I saw throughout the crowd was pathetic group of individuals deperatey attempting to fill their need to belong. If these are the same people that watch races on TV, then I think they hit their target audience very well.

Filled your need, did you? FWIW, I believe that NASCAR has the largest fan base of any other sport in the U.S.

Did the commercial have text at the bottom of the screen that says "See our ad in Golf Digest"?

On my remote there is this button labeled "Mute". I use it often.

In my house there is no TV. Works even better than the mute button.

What about the viagra commercial where they were showing people how to crack the heads on their classic chevys and possible get severly burned. Like pouring a bottle of water straight out of the fridge into overheated car without even having the car running is a good thing to do.

I don't care how many sub-standard IQers watch that crap, most of those folks are flat out trash. The couple that was in the motel room next to mine had spent over 30 years each working just so they could sell off everything and follow the race circuit in a motor home. I can't comprehend that type of mentality nor could I think of a more depressing way to retire. Have at it deep drawlers. I will pass.
