Since you boys don't have anything much to talk about just come on down heah and help up fight tornadoes and floods. We have a heck of a battle on our hands and could use all the help we can get. Raktrac that hangs around here is in trouble. His camp is going to be 15 feet under in a few days. He got all he could out and now the rest is up to mama nature and she can be a *****. A few prayewrs that the Mississippi levee doesn't break would sho nuff be appreciated. The back waters from the tributaries is bad enough. Thanks

Prayers sent Doo Dah. I'm entirely too familiar with major floods. Back in '93 one flood victim told me "I'd rather have a fire, it's over in a few hours". '93 flood was 6 weeks long here.

Haven't understood why they haven't brought back the song:

"How highs the water Papa?"

HOW HIGHS THE WATER PAPA? Jeremiah 12:5
Intro: In March of 1959, Johnny Cash recorded a story song he had written about a flood that his family experienced when he was young.
HOW HIGHS THE WATER PAPA? How highs the water, mama? Two feet high and risin How highs the water papa? Two feet high and risin
We can make to the road in a homemade boat Thats the only thing we got left thatll float Its already over all the wheat and the oats, Two feet high and risin
How highs the water mama? Three feet high and risin How highs the water papa? Three feet high and risin
Well, the hives are gone, Ive lost my bees The chickens are sleepin
In the willow trees Cows in water up to her knees, Three feet high and risin
How highs the water mama? Four feet high and risin How highs the water papa? Four feet high and risin
Hey, come look through the window pane, The bus is comin, gonna take us to the train Looks like well be blessed with a little more rain four feet high and risin
