Broad question.

For my purposes a .358 with a 20" barrel. If instead I were building a more open country rig probably a 7-08, but for the open country rifle I'd rather run a WSM or long action.

Guess there's another one, a WSM.

What's the boltface and intended terrain and quarry?

Reading comprehension.....

I quoted your initial post. Excuse ME for not reading further in where you presumably fleshed out the question.

God you're an azzwipe.

You can't/won't read, and it's someone else's fault. Typical.

Thinking exactly that...

McEdge or Banser (maybe a Ti SAUM take-off); LVSF-ish tube, punched AI, throated for 105s, Talleys...

Sean that sound almost exactly like the .243AI I want to build..

It will be of course a Rem 700 SS ADL with a 21" LVSF dupe contour in a 8 twist maybe 3 groove maybe 5 not sure.

Stock will be a Mcedge and scope Leupold 3.5X10 with M1 turrets and DD's.
