We were missed by 1/4 mile back in 1999. Same today. Tornado tracked 1/4 south of us. This is the worst it has been since '99. Hail golf ball size. Just had my roof replaced a couple of months ago.

As if the Oklahoma situation isn't horrible enough, more rough storms are headed towards Joplin. Not necessarily tornadoes, but winds likely to be between 40 and 80 MPH. All the debris on the ground will be picked up and hurled around like so many thousands of missles.

Made it thru with just a little light wind damage and small hail. Got real lucky, the bad stuff passed about 6 miles away. We were lucky.
Some folks weren't. There's been a handful of people killed and I heard there was a bunch of kids that were injured. Don't know the details, maybe a tornado hit a daycare or something. All I know is that there are some kids that are critical.

I watched channel 9, online for a couple of hours. One of my younger brothers lives in Mustang.
I couldn't get him on the phone, but the radar showed the worst of it missed them.
I lived in OKC for a few years, the weather can get bad fast.
