I've got a gun whose bore is pretty good, but is "frosted" in one barrel. I was thinking about fine honing it with a Flex Hone from Brownell's. Anyone ever done this?

I have as well. Be sure and buy the flex hone oil to use with it.

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects

I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
