140 gr nosler accubond in front of 70.0 gr IMR7828. Fed 215 primer in a norma case. Gives me a little over 3200 fps out of my 24.5" brux barrel. It's my standard deer load.

I'm a real fan of any cartridge that can push a 160gr. Nosler Partition near 3000fps. With the great 7RM I get 3000+ with 65grs of IMR7828 and that bullet. It's powerful, flat shooting load that's capable of cleanly taking any North American cud chewer.

Hodgdon lists 69.0 as max with IMR7828 and the 140 Nosler Partition--but the 140 AccuBond doesn't create as much presssure as the Partition.
In reality, there is no single "max on 7828 and 140's," because pressure varies enormously with different 140-grain bullets.

68.0 grains of IMR 7828 lit by a Fed 215M and a 150 grain Nosler BT is the load that has shot everything I have killed with mine. GreggH

I believe my best result was 63.5 grs of IMR4350 behind a Hornady 139 gr. SPBT...but that was 20 years ago.

68 RL22 with 140 Bitterroot for 3200..load works well with the 140AB and 140 NPT as well.
Lately I like 70 RL25 and the 150 NBT and 150 NPT for about 3120.
Fed 215's and WW brass in all loads.
The 280 Remington is overbore.
The 7 Rem Mag is over bore.

Tried 64.5 RL22 and 150 Sierra's and shot 1 1/2in groups with Lee factory crimp and w/out Lee factory crimp.

I only have measured velocities once thanks to a nice gentleman, but on my rifle, a hunting Savage 110 (shhhh!) I get about 1 inch groups with the following: (Still in the tweaking stages) - 160 Partition with 63gr RL22 gives ~2900fps, Rem 9 1/2 and Federal cases - 150 CoreLokts and Nosler Ballistic Tips like 60 & 61gr of IMR4831 for same speeds as above - this is a "puny" load since per book you can push the 150grainers up to WAY over 3100fps with 66gr of powder. My barrel appears to get better velocities than those suggested by the charge with IMR and similar to book with RL22. Lucky me!

I like 70.5 grains of Retumbo and the 168 Berger VLD. Bullets are 0.010" off the lands.

150 grain Nosler Partiton or Sierra Match King: 60 grains H-1000 and CCI 250 primer. Speer 145: 61 grains of IMR 4831 with CCI 250 primer. Never had much luck with RL-22 or IMR 7828 in my 7mm mag.

What rifle are you shooting the 168 bergers out of and what speed are you getting?

Remington 700 Sendero (original). I haven't clocked the load yet, as I'm still in development. It should be somewhere between 2900-3000 fps...I think?
