This New Haven Winchester is in excellent shape. It has seen less than 200 rounds go down the tube. The barrel is mirror bright and she has always been well taken care of. That may not be the best picture of the bolt face; it is spotless. There are just a few, very minor blemishes on the metal. The stock is a Bell & Carlson Medalist purchased last year (has not seen much time out of the safe). The action is fully glass-bedded with the barrel floated; all gunsmithing work down by George at Willamette Valley Gunsmithing. The trigger is set at right around 2 lbs.
The scope is a Leupold Vari-x III 3.5-10 x 40 and crystal clear (currently dialed in at 200 yds). Those are Leupold bases and rings. Butler Creek flip covers with the flip button painted black because it was an eyesore in red. Bipod is a Rock Mount and adjustable I believe from 6-13. It is also wearing an Uncle Mikes Mountain Sling and an Uncle Mikes buttstock shell holder. The following are also included in the package:
- 47 pieces of polished 1x Winchester nickel cases, 7 deprimed.
- 35 pieces of polished 1x, deprimed brass.
- 60 pieces of polished 1x brass.
- 1 box less 2 rounds of 140 grn Winchester Fail Safe ammunition.
- 39 CT Ballistic Silvertips, 130 grn.
