No dought.
But I would wonder about repair on the Hensoldt.
Half a year to sourkrout land and back aint floating my boat.

Big difference between hunting and BR in just the numbers of rounds fired.

I'd still take the Hensoldt over any loopie.
The Hensoldt might need fixed someday.
The loopie would be luckey to get out of the box without being fixed not repaired before its even used.

Hensoldt hasn't been on the scene in the US for very long, but as of today they have 0 returns for warranty work.

Coming from Japan Jeff, you will get radiation exposure looking thru the March scope and it will even make you more retarded than you already are. Plus body parts will begin to fall off.

March is a sister co. of Bushnell(Same address in Japan).

Ringman,

Right now I own 5 Schmidt & Benders and 1 Nightforce scopes.

I sold all my BSA's, Tascos, and my Bushnell Banners to slg888 & SKane - these 2 guys are serious shooters!!!

I've owned 5 and out of those 5 I've had to send in 3 for repair. The other two I sold without ever using. These were VX-I's, Vari X II's, and the VX-II I had was one I sold without using. So these weren't high end Leupolds, but I'm just not convinced the quality is there. There are lots of reports out there on issues people are having with the higher end Leupolds too.

So, how does March pull off it's reputation with such high magnifications in their line-up?
Curious how they're defeating the exit pupil theory with their 80x scopes on a 50mm objective. Or even their 50x scopes for that matter? No cloudy, dimminished (low light)view?
Are they doing something with their construction or just have such badass glass(:)that the selling price can command an audience? What gives?

Its called engineering.
Leupold had the opportunity to build a March type scope before Dion did.A group of ten or so HOF BR shooters approached loopie to build it.They wanted Leupold scopes.
Leupold turned them down.
My guess as to why, would be because of a lack of qualified staff.March scopes are built one at a time by hand.
Ten or fifteen years from now when they discover how much market share they have lost. They will introduce a BR division.
Just like the ever so late tactical division they just started.

Isn't March a Bushnell product?

March to my knowledge has no affiliation with Bushnell. March is owned by Deon Optical.
