Savage,Savage, Savage ,The best there is the best there going be

They are excellent quality, but they are persnikity.

I really like the Savages and they are some of my favorite muzzle loaders and they really are a revolutionary design. However, that being said, I haven't yet been able to figure out why SwampMan likes them as I've heard just as many stories of guys blowing up the barrels on those as I have on Spanish muzzle loaders.

Yes it is. Of course no one here is throwing chairs yet. That could not happen unless the keyboard tough guys had to actually show their faces. Much easier to whine "ban him, he disagrees with me and I don't like him."

40 plus club members on this site, all contributing on various threads. None calling for others to be banned, none making death threats and none just making up lies to further their perverse OCD agendas.

I have no idea how many friends Swampy has signed up here, how many user I.D.s he has the ability to use. I do know that the group of 10 or so jerks who have been running the site for the past few years are now getting overwhelmed by adult, rational members. They would be much more at home at a site like ARAIG which exists only to traffice in abuse and insults.

Must be tough to realize you have become a mere annoyance rather than the power behind the throne.

The only one that I've ever seen that blew up, was the one Toby blew up on purpose. It was rebarreled and is still in the field.

You really haven't made the grade until some of them threaten to kill you because you won't knuckle under to them.

Interesting them, never post any gun pics, game taken pics, have no user I.D.s on any auction sites, have no names, no email addresses.

A while back there was a suggestion that they were all confined somewhere and using computers provided for their legal appeals. Makes one wonder..........

Larry, nobody wants you to knuckle under to their way of thinking. You really don't get it, do you? The main reason for the general dislike of you is your holier-than-thou attitude, mean-spirited demeanor, and general intolerance for criticism. My general antipathy for all modern inlines is well known. I haven't an opinion about 700MLs either way, except that 700s in general have been decent rifles by-and-large but certainly aren't the only fish in the sea.

I read these threads about bolt action inlines out of curiosity born of a desire to learn about all things that go "bang!"

The girls don't bother me. If they ever spend any time at the bench, or actullay hunting they'll admit that I right.
