.308- Little older pict - currently wears a Kahles 2x7 in Talley LW's. A 2-7 Kahles- wow! What are the specs on that scope? Is it as cool as it sounds? Jeff, Kahles Helia CL 2-7x36 (4A reticle - 1" tube) Nice little scope - wish I could scrounge up a couple more. Holding my breath that I never have to send it in for service.

Nope, it shot fine, it was a .270 WSM and I wanted a 7 WSM.
It does shoot a little better now though.

Huntsman is that a 260-killed elk? How could that be? Nah, That elk was just laying there in the woods, taking a dirt nap. I put on my injun suit, and snucked up on him to get a pic of my Kimber for the OP. Everybody knows a 260 is too dinky for alks.......

He was showing off shooting a circle around it!
JOC was right. The 270 Winchester on a Model 70 is a great combination as is the 30/06 and 375 H&H

What caliber is this rifle chambered in? That would be a 300 wsm. Shoots 168 TTSX quite well!

Next time I go to the range I'll post a pic of the 4-5moa groups mine is currently producing. 84M 7/08 You've had more than one person offer to take that POS off your hands, yet you still have it, which tells me something..

GW, That's one of the best, if not the best, looking Montana's I've seen. What all did you do to it?

It's a .338 Federal that already had the Rick Bin paint job on the stock when I bought it. A couple months ago I had all the metal Teflon coated by Blackice Coatings here in Utah. I bought it thinking it would be the ideal close-cover spot and stalk bear rifle and ended up killing an Idaho black bear with it in May at 340 yards. Go figure!...
