I picked up the Semi skinner( the one on the right) here in the classifieds a few months ago and then lucked into the other one last week. Since they almost match perfectly I had no choice but to pick it up.

You might also note that is a "Parsons" sheath they rest on. Rick makes some of the sharpest knives out there- not only in keenness of blade but looks.

the handle material on both those knifes you cant get anymore. I have maybe 50 sets lift but i dont use it much. Its my favorite stuff

No its called butter-scotch. Its wonderful stuff. I wish i had a wheel barrow full of it. I wont use it much anymore.

I also have one of Rick's butter scotch beauties. Poor thing has never left the house. I very much like the hollow ground blade and the polished finish.

That is the only bg-42 knife i think i have made. I had a large stock of it and i traded to mike miller. The pattern from Boise i called George's #5 It has natural linen i think on it which is real close to buter scotch

yes the one on the right is bg 42. I really like that one, the feel and balance on it is superb.
