Sorry to hear that! I have one running hound that run great until the hare completes the first circle and then he has a hard time. I have a 3yo beagle/blue tick cross that is just starting and showing great potential. And then there is the 11 week old female pup that we are starting. She is already running domestic rabbits like a champ and will be switched to hare very soon!

FCGS,

Was just looking over your website (your pop posted it)... If I ever draw a NH Moose, I'll give you a call... and will want to do some hare hunting while there... sounds like fun!

Thank you! There are 5 permits up for silent bid if you would rather try to buy one. Did you apply this year?

No, I did not apply this year but wish I would have... I was just asking on the Savage forum what the average NR preference points were.

Any idea what the tags generally sell for at auction? I'd consider it but given the amount of money in New England, my guess is they sell for a great deal more than I would want to pay.

Last year the price from low to high for 5 permits was right around 9K to almost 10K.

Most of the people that "buy" their tags are from NH and are sick of not getting picked!
