Doug,

I've been looking for reviews of Minox's new BL 15x56 BR bino, but I can't find much yet.

The descriptions I've seen so far indicate fully multi-coated lenses and phase-corrected prism, but no mention of ED or HD glass.

In your opinion, how do these compare optically with Minox's previous 15x58 (BD 15x58 ED BR) bino?

I think that the BL is excellent quality and within 5% of the now discontinued 15x58 ED

I just got a pair of the open box specials from Doug. Initial views impressed me.
I had a pair of the 13x56s and I swore by them. These appear to be another pair I will really enjoy.
For the price they are very nice!

Thanks all. I like the eye relief as quoted on the specs. Seems to a little longer than the previous model, and every millimeter counts with me due to my prescription eye glasses and neanderthal eyebrows.
