I am looking to purchase a camcorder to film some hunts to have some memories to watch over the years. The budget is a little on tight side so topend stuff is out. My father and I usally go on a deer hunt outwest every year and the number of hunts he has left is shrinking and would really like to film some of the remaining ones. Can some one point me in the right direction?
Thanks.

many of Sony and Canon are great in the 400 to 700 range.
Panasonic makes nice ones too.
takes a newer computer with good memory for editing. Good graphics/video card too.

Have you ruled out a point and shoot that does good video too?
Great photography is not about being in the right place at the right time, it is about putting yourself in the right place at the right time.
