I would like to offer up my sig line as exhibit A of the "pot calling the kettle black" here. For those that don't recall the first quote was from my thread where my 15 year old son killed a Cane Break out by our gray water area in the back yard. The second quote is where he is offering a 6 foot Eastern Diamondback skin to another Campfire member to cover a gun stock. A little time and a little patience, and the azzhats usually show their colors. Just in case I change it in the future. Sig line: What an azzhat! I never can figure out why people kill snakes.....their stupid seems to be the only answer. I have a 6 foot EDB in the freezer, if I can find it you can have it.

Maybe it was a road kill. I"ve pickd up many and put to use in leather working projects. Course, I'm the redneck you see with fillet knife down in the ditch carving backstraps out of dead deer, too.

As I stated above, I would believe that from most. But this [bleep] was very quick to offer his judgement in my initial thread. I feel vindicated in returning the favor to him.

I'm with you mink.I kill every rattle snake I see here in Eastern Ky they are plentiful.I own beagles and if some people seen what a rattle snake bite will do to a dog when bitten (If it lives) they would kill them also.

Me, too! If anybody comes up to my place toting a rattling snake he runs a good chance of getting shot himself. Rattle snakes kills my dogs and I kill them. Case closed.

I didn't kill the snake. Two idiots that I know killed it, and called to see if I wanted the skin. Sadly they wasted the meat by waiting to long to call.
Killing benifical animals like snakes, because you have unnatural & girlish fears seems to be pretty common for city folks.
You should stay in the house so you don't get hurt by critters.
