Any comments on this stuff? Is brass OK? Is the Grand Slam to tough for 300?

From what I've heard Grand Slam should be fine for the 300, they expand fairly quick and penetrate well. The price on the ammo definitely seems fair considering what I see the main ammo going for at the chain stores.

Ditto...cannot speak for the Bitteroot brand, but the grand slam is a good projectile. Last box of commercial I purchased was 27.99 for Federal. Roll my own now...

Thanks Fellas. Got my first 300. Will get Dies and components, but want some loaded stuff ond hand, case the DCS agrees that I am feeding too many Does.

Makes me realize how lucky I was, a couple of months back I was offered a 10 box unopened pack of 150grn rem corelokt ammo for $20.00 a box. I took the the whole lot even though at the time I did'nt own a 300sav. Ammo is much more expensive down here.

If I can get this darn thing to feed that last round i'll be happy

Dell I don't have much hair left, but what I do have i'm pulling out in chunks. This has got me stumped, once I get my mates rifle I cam make a fair comparison
