I should post a pic of mine just to show how nice this one is compared to the average 73.

MM is there any issues with function? Has any internal work been done to the rifle? How accurate does it shoot. I read about pits but for many rifles that does not affect accuracy. Any more info would be helpful. 32-20 is my second most favorite calibre. 38-40 is number 1!

Works great. I shot about 30 rounds through it. Functioned perfect. All original, not messed with. Some leading in throat area. Riflings have some very minor pitting. The best bore I have seen in a 1873. I was just shooting for fun (cans ect.) seemed to be hitting cans at 25 yards. I only shot one load with one cast bullet. I know the load and bullet make a difference. Original dust cover, and it works great. Call 406-363-2622
