I am ready to get into the teal and woodies up here in the Northeast. We have had a good spring and summer so far with rain so everything should have water here.

Same here. Plenty of water. In fact water in little holes that have been dry for 10 years.
The wood duck hatch for local birds was fantastic so I am sure there will be a few limits this year.

I wish Montana had an early Teal season, always see really good numbers of Blue Wing and Green Wing up until about 2-3 weeks before season opener!

Might be that the best hunting here is on the river this year, most ponds are dry or will be by sept.....

Time will tell. But I"ll be in AK most if not all of Teal season so thats that....

The one lake we hunt is bound to be closed by now, a few weeks ago if it dropped 6 more inches it would be closed to ALL hunting....

111 today, no duck in its right mind would come this direction right now.... Without checking for sure, we should be 4 weeks from season. Won't matter, I'll be in AK during all of early teal anyway and probably much happier to that fact too.

Season opened today here in wyoming. We are heading out tomorrow. Now if only we had some water. Pretty much jump little creeks looking for lost ducks that ended up in Wyoming.

Was out on the weekend here in Manitoba. Gorgeous day. Got 6 blue-wing, on a limit of 8. First time I've ever bagged a single species on a hunt. 30 to 40 yards over decoys, #4 steel from 2-3/4" Winchester Drylock shells in Moss. 930 MOD choke. This combo was killing extremely well. I can't count how many ducks flew right over my head from behind when I was looking left or right. A great start to the season for me.
