I've been carrying religiously for 12 years, all those years were a .38 Smith and Wesson model 642. Just switched to a Kahr P9 about 3 mos ago. Both are sweet pieces, kinda nice having a few more bullets with the semi. What are you guy's carrying?

14 years... A whole host of things between now and then, but it's pretty settled on either a BHP or a Gov't 1911.
Though, other stuff still gets tried and mixed in.

When I do, it's usually a J-frame 38. Once in a great while, a target Bulldog.
I think, therefore I am, conservative.

I started carrying a hand gun in high school. Back then, and for many years after, it was a S&W .38 model 10. Today, it varies. Sometimes a .45 ACP 1911, maybe a revolver in .38 or .357, .45 Colt or .44 MAG. Heck, it might be one of a group of 9mm semi autos.

Lately, for about a year now, I've been carrying a Kahr P9 in a Milt Sparks Executive Companion IWB holster. I carried it for a few years back about ten years ago when I first bought it too, but in between I've switched up between a Colt Detective Special, a Colt Government Model, and a Smith & Wesson Model 13. The latter three were carried in Milt Sparks VM II IWB holsters.

Today I carried my glock 27 in a Kramer #3 IWB and a Ruger LCP 380 in my front left pocket. I also carry a spare mag for the 27, Sure E2 and Spyderco Wegner.

It doesn't surprise me you would carry a personal defense weapon.
