well looks to be an 1899A SR if you ask me based on the front sight but it could be consider a 99C I guess if the serial number is late enough. Pretty beat up and not factory checkered... I know the 99s are fairly rare down there but I'd probably pass...

Being a takedown, it could be a 99D. Too high on price for me.

Serial No is 2281XX All If have to do now is find my book or the bits of it I would buy a new one but they only ship to the US Cheers

What does $800 translate to in U.S. dollars? As I post, it is $703.136, when this thread first started it was about $691 if I remember correctly - looks like the US dollar is on the way down. Back on May 17 it would have been $624.48! currency converter Gene

Appears to be a 1899SR or 99-D. I don't have the transition point but I would say it is more likely to letter as an 1899SR.
