I paid about that much for one at Sportsmans Werehouse. It is a great shooting gun, my son loves it. Only issue is the single shot adapter it comes with and tat polymer mags are 40 bucks.

I'd say it's a decent deal not a smokin deal but pretty good, and probably a good rifle.........Hillbilly.

Yeah, what Hillbilly said. I doubt I could get one locally for that price right now. My main problem with CZ's is the safety, but apparently that is not a widespread opinion.

Yes- standard CZ mags work fine. Steel or polymer.

The Scout has the same mag well as any other CZ 452 rifle.

The poster was referring to the fact the Scout ONLY comes with the single shot adapter. Spare CZ mags are usually about $30 to $35 online.
