I want to buy me a set of electronic earmuffs. I have some hearing loss and I can think of many situations where they could come in handy....like going to a play with my wife. I also want to use these hunting obviously and at the shooting range. I looked in cabelas and they have them ranging from $45 to $299. I am currently thinking about the Barrettas that run about $120. I thought I would come here first though and see what the experts recomend for brands. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Not a gunwrtier but a satisfied user of the Peltor Tactical 6 electronic muffs. You can get them at Natchez Shooters Supply for about $75 on sale. I paid $110 a few years ago and couldn't be happier. Not quite the noise reduction of some but light and small enough to always be in my truck so I use them. The amplified sound feature is great for those of us who've lost some hearing. Ward

Folks are going to look at you kinda funny, what with wearing muffs to a play, aren't they?
