Who here uses it? My brother just got one & I need to help him start loading for it.
What powder would be best for this case?

I shoot factory Lapua ammo almost exclusively now, but will probably start with Retumbo when I get around to loading for the cartridge. The best bullet available (for consistent accuracy and long-range shooting) is the 300gr Scenar, btw.

Retumbo, H1000 and Ramshot Magnum are all very good powders for the .338 Lapua, depending on the rifle and bullet.

Thanks guys. I also posted this on the long range hunting thread. Seems like H1000 is a popular powder & the place to start.
