This is the 5th rifle in the Lipsey's Exclusive series with walnut stocks on stainless. The 1st 4 sold out and are not often found on the secondary market. It has taken 2 and a half years to get this long awaited .250 Savage in a Ruger No.1 from Ruger. If you have ever wanted a No.1 in the .250/3000, better get one, as when these are gone, they will not be easy to find the second time around. $975 shipped to your FFL; if you are a Texas resident, we will have to deal with the Sales Tax issue. Powdr, Good to hear from you again! Anyone that wants a photo, I can send you one in an e-mail. Posting on here is one level above my job grade. It is challenge enough to get a pic taken and get it off the camera and on my computer. My wife just got an iPad and that is a bit easier! I just take a picture and e-mail it to myself!

I have handled a K1A in .250, it is a light, handy little rifle The wood was plainer than these, though.

bea175: Mine averaged slightly under 1" @ 100yds with "my" standard 250-3000 load (38.7g of WW760 and 100g Nosler SBBT - old design). This was for three three shot groups.....seems like it is a shooter ......as are all the recent Rugers that I've purchased (77 Hawkeye in .350 RM, 77 RSI in .257 Roberts, and a No. 1 in .45-70). Mine is relatively "plain" in teh wood figure department but does have a little (not nearly as nice as soom I've seen on this site!) PennDog

I haven't shot the 250 but I had one of the Lipsey K1A's in 6.5x55 and it shot 1" groups with Remigton factory ammo.
