Great thread! Here's some of my old Savages...

First year Savage in 303 that I had for a while.

My all weather 250-3000, pointed towards some fence posts.

Dink standing safely 18" on the other side of some fenceposts, laughing at me and my 99T in 300.

An 1899 SR in 303 taking a breather against what should be a fence post. grin

kinda embarassed to say so, but not yet. the scope for the M7 is at Leupold getting fixed, but the big prob is another project that's been eating up most of my time (changing a '72 3/4 ton Suburban from 2wd automatic to 4x4 four speed). gotta shoot some though because i put in for an unlimited sheep tag and have exactly one month to get the cobwebs out...

that stock came from the Specials page on the McMillan site, and when i called to order it, Heather went back to see if it was still there. when she came back to the phone, she called it 'hidious' and offered to have it painted for free. i thought that was funny...

I had one of those bastids. SHot at a mule deer buck in Co at about 125 yards , one of the most dramatic kills I have ever seen. Just picked it up and slammed it to the ground.
