What kind of range (operating distance) are you talking about and in what type of environment?

There's too many variables to just shout out a good recommendation.

The FRS/GMRS radios that you can buy everywhere are prohibited for unlicensed use in the day to day operation of a business.

You'll need radios licensed for that task.

Family Service Radios. they're cheap and no license required and they can be easily programmed to one channel with a sub audible tone to eliminate interference from others using the frequency not using the sub audible tone you have programed into your radios. They should work well for you as their strictly line of sight radios.
