I've never truly understood nor appreciated the allure of hunting and shooting one of them black "cattle"..... but perhaps my perspective will change next summer as I'll have an opportunity to hunt one in Zim. Yes it will.. MM +1 to that..... I had the misfortune/good fortune to hunt scarce, heavily hunted buffalo on my one trip to Zim. Got one on the last 20 minutes of a 14 day hunt....it would have been easier to sneak up on an old whitetail buck in the thick stuff...what a thrill! ![[Linked Image]](http://i560.photobucket.com/albums/ss45/thmsbrownlee/u.jpg)

Aw hell, if some of you guys get all them bucks with the 17 i can surely take one of those with my 270 and uh, corelocks

They are the real deal, and like Ruark said..once you have hunted Buffalo, you are dissatisfied with anything else...
Not exactly dissatisfied here...but six point bull elk and 6.5 foot bears, and 160 class deer just don't hold the charm and allure they once did....

Aw hell, if some of you guys get all them bucks with the 17 i can surely take one of those with my 270 and uh, corelocks I remember an article where Sam Fadala had a hunt planned and injuried his shoulder, he got permission from the government somewhere over there and took his buff with a 30-06. Single body shot too if I remember correctly...
