I just added a very nice Model 12 Featherweight 12ga to my shotgun collection. Does anyone know how much less the Featherweight weighs compared to the standard Model 12, 12ga with a 28" barrel? Thanks in advance, Greg

The standard model 12 ,28 ' bbl. weighed in at approx.7lb. 10 oz. while the Featherweight when introduced in '59 weighed approx.6lb.10 oz.

I had one of these and thought it to be an excellent upland shotgun. I gave it to my hunting pal's son for his graduation. This shotgun weighs about the same as my standard 16 gauge Model 12.
