I went on a trip to the Denali highway and shot a ground squirel. It was really fun because with a 20 Gauge at 40-45 yards it ran around a little bit. But with a well placed second shot it fell and started doing the funky chicken for a little bit before it died. But it might of helped if I wasn't using 7 and a halfs. The hide looked really good for dubbing on flies (the reason I shot it) but after I looked at it the tail looked really good also. Next year I might just keep tails.
