Well, the 2011 Championships are over and Carl Bernosky has done it again with his White Oak built AR15 space gun. This is his 9th championship and his final score was 2393-160x! That's 2 of every 3 shots in the X-ring. His final stages went something like 200-18x in his last 600yard slow fire stage, and 200-15x for his final Standing stage (tying Gary Anderson's long-standing national record). ...and he did it firing in only a couple of matches during the year!
The other story about the nationals (not involving an AR15 though) was Rodrigo Rosa shooting in his first complete Nationals and chasing Bernosky for the championship. Going into the last day, they were tied for points although Carl had a massive lead in X's. In the end, Rosa ended up finishing 2nd at 2390-132x which I believe is the 4th highest score fired at Camp Perry ever. Incredible inaugural performance!

I marvel at the guys and gals who can shoot like that. Am sure they put in a lot of work reaching that skill level.

White oak does a hell of a job.. its why they are my go to for anything AR15ish....
Has been since I was made aware of John and company.
And of cousre, Carl has been a heck of a shooter all along and that never hurts...
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

White Oak uses more than one brand. John never turned me down when I told him what I wanted.
Now if you DON"T specify.. then you could get a wilson, PN/Shilen etc... just depending.
