Most likely a really dumb question.

I recently picked up an Interarms Mark X in 30-06. Went to a local shop that had Leupold and Weaver 2 piece bases for Mauser M98s. Picked up the Leupolds and they do not fit. Front are fine but the rear screw spacing (on the base) is too narrow. I looked at the Weaver and they are the same as the Leupold.

Is there a different rear base for Interarms/Mauser M98s? Can't seem to find anything different in my internet searches.

I might have a set for you, soon.

I'll probably be selling my Interarms Mk X, so...

It sounds like you solved your problem. If you ever decide you want a picatinny rail for that Mark X, Near Mfg makes one.

If anyone else makes one I couldn't find it in a very thorough search.

Here you go http://www.egwguns.com/mauser/

I just ordered one for my Interarms. Fits like a glove. You'll be happy with it.
