Anybody run a 1x4x24 on there DGR. I have a Winchester 70 in 375 h h I was thinking about one, opinions please. Thanks.

personally i find NF reticles hard to pick up visually which would not be good for a DGR. that said i have never looked through a 1-4x24 so my opinion is uninformed.

Anybody. Im looking at the FC-2 reticle

joelbiltz, I run a Nightforce 2.5-10x24 w/ the NP-1 reticle on a 505 Gibbs, it is an extremely fast reticle to bracket your game and fire, I love it and it is not busy, one of the clearest unobstructed reticles out there IMO.
And my scope has stood the test of at least a couple hundred full power loads without a hitch.
If Your planning Africa someday, the red reticle will show up good on a black buff at dusk or in heavy brush if needed.

joelbiltz, I have that scope with the FC-2 reticle on my .50 Beowulf. The FC-2 reticle is very quick to pick up with the eye, quick shots on 1x with both eyes open is no problem. Eye relief is generous, glass is sharp and gathers light very well for a 24mm objective. I think it is one of the best scopes out there for close work where failure isn't an option.
