I found loaded ammo. Use Google and type in "shotgun flechettes". First link sells loaded ammo.

I'm confused. I know a flechette is a small dart.

Is a flatchet a hatchet that's been run over by a train?

Don't know what they'd be good for, except possibly penetrating soft body armor if you can get them to stabilize. I've seen them fired out of a 105 (beehive round) in training and wasn't impressed, hits on all the targets but little penetration. They were supposed to have been reserved for final protective fire where the bad guys are up close and personal en masse. A little something in everyone is better than big bullets in a few in that instance.

Just curious, what are you expecting with them? Not being critical, I've been known to try nonstandard stuff too.

A few months ago we had loaded some and used them at the range with pretty good success. We where shooting paper targets at the time and want to load some more for an old timer here who wants to use them on crows and squirrels
