I recently have moved to Murray State University in south western Kentucky. If anyone in the area knows of, or has a crop field I would love to walk it (after the harvest) for rocks, mostly from a geological stand point. Thanks for any input!

Great university, great professors. I am sure you won't have any trouble finding several fields to walk. I know of several that you might be able to explore. There is also Land Between the Lakes...thousands of acres of woods, fields, and ROCKS!

There isn't a doubt about it being a great university, I'll see about the professors tomorrow(from what I have heard though I think great is an understatement)!
