Have been trying to reach him for several days, since this flooding started. He and his family live on the Loyalsock Creek in PA and they are seeing record flooding on that creek.The area appears to be cut off due to the highway being washed away and several of the bridges, according to their newspaper accounts. We are worried, and know he would appreciate you sending your prayers and goodwill in his direction.

You got em from down under mate, keep your powder dry. Confident we will hear from once the water drops. Maybe the floods have taken out the power & phone lines.

The whole Susquehanna watershed is seeing unrecorded flooding.

Worse that Agnes in 72 and the great flood in 04.

Irene got us a week ago with 6-8 inches and we had 12-14" more in some places in the past 3 days. Roads, bridges, houses, cars, property, and in some case lives, washed away.

Going to be a long, long, long time before things get back to normal in central Pa.

Hope Flintknocker is safe. Hope his family and property made it through.

I'll see if I can get him on the phone in the morning.If not I'll try one of his friends.

I would be surprised if he was cut off from town but I know that the water got within inch or two of coming in the door last time.

I got through to one of our friends in Montoursville .Power and phone is out all the way up the Loyalsock and Wallis Run so he won't have computer or land line.

Heather said that Ed had water through the first floor of the house so his shop is flooded as well as it is about a foot lower.

I'll try to get him on the cell.Everyone is ok but definitely not comfortable.

I talked to Ed.The house had a couple of feet of water through the 1st floor. He has power.He is carrying the mud out of the house.He'll be OK.

Yep, we took a MAJOR shot. Life has/will change. But I am no stranger to disaster, and I/we will survive.

There are so many have it far worse than we do...far, far worse. And the Sheer Raw Humanity that has come out of the woodwork is staggering!!! And Very,very Humbling:( :)))))))) Gives one a serious leg up on believing in one's fellow human being.

Send us one small prayer, send my neighbors a LOT of BIG ones. please???
