Spent 8 days in the hills north of Fairbanks with my 13 year old. We hunted hard and braved some pretty crappy weather, but the morning of the 8th day the work payed off. Coop shot his first moose on the last morning of the hunt. 30-06 180 grain hornady SST, 310 yards. Smoked him on his first shot. Dad followed up, but it wasn't needed. Very happy kid and one extremely proud dad! Hope the pic posts.

I'll send you a tip of the hat too for making sure that all the details and groundwork were in place so this hunt could happen. Well done sir.
