Got a new pair of these they came with a insole that is made of some type of mesh, what are these for ?

It's basically a spacer/insert that you may or may not need depending on how the boots fit you. Possibly after cork insoles breakdown a bit, you might need them.

Mine ended up at the landfill.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

I had those cork looking things in my Meindl PH boots from Cabela's 5 years ago. I tossed mine also.
Maybe I missed the memo but I figured they went in as an insole? They sucked!

LOL. I had the EXACT same question--mine arrived yesterday. Seems to me they'd go under the cork insole?
