Oh, also there are a select few who wish to adjust their barrel harmonics but can't afford a "barrel donut"...

I just spewed some Pepsi on my screen when I saw this! Gonna steal this idea at the next hunt club meeting when someone brings up harmonics! TFF

I used to use a "Bubba Buddy" I liked having extra ammo readily available. Learned that after 3 s hots from my .338 failed to put a Kodiak brown down for good, and my extra ammo was in the pack. Ain't no fun having one round and a dying, pizzed off bear in the brush. I did go back and get the extra rounds before chasing into the thick scheit, but started carrying 'em on the stock shortly afterward. Then I started losing ammo from the "Bubba Buddy" and decided I'll just learn to shoot straighter so i don't need to carry extra boolits. My discarding the Buddy has nothing to do with being one of the "cool kids" or peer pressure....just can't afford to keep losing ammo...and my gun no longer looks like it caught the gay.

ingwe Are you sure those are not used as LEO magnets. Just set a cup of coffee next to one of those rifles and you ought to call every officer on duty out there within range. whistle

Just use a condom to protect from the elements. Besides, you will get a great deal of satisfaction when/if you have to blow the end of it off !

Thats cause lighter barrels have more aggressive harmonics to tame....

I tried it recently and it turned my 260 Rem barrel from a 10 to 15 minute of angle shooter.... installed the blue tape and it turned into a one hole shooter...

so I intend to use it on ALL of my hunting rifles now...

I just read "THE" blue tape thread...

Now I know why I've never seen a Smurf on a hunting show.
