Hello, I recently replaced the Weaver K3 scope on my GICarbine with a smaller red dot sight which looks better on that llittle gun. Problem is,the sight is offset(not over the bore),and the reticle is very close to te edge of the lens.It is no problem on the range but I fear that it will not work out in a hunting situation. It's an older, cheap'model. Are the newer ones better in this respect?I have a lot of experience with offset scopes, and none of them have this problem. Would the Bushnell Holograph sight be any better? Thanks' Frank

Hello, again' Forget that old red dot sight;I must have wrecked it trying to move the reticle.it is 15-20 years old,and been n several different guns. Now,I would like some input on mid-priced red dot sights that fit into Weaver-type rings. Midway has a Millet for $106. Does anyone have a recommendation on it,or a similar sight? thanks FRank

Man I have tried to squeeze some info out around here about red dot sights and came to the conclusion no one here uses them.
check out surplusrifle.com and ar15.com they have some there who are pretty knowledgable about them.
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.
When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.
PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.
