I have this Model 74 Winchester listed in the classifieds section. I am asking $350.00 shipped. Am off base on price?

That may be a tad high, depending on the condition. It's hard to tell from the photo. It would need to be 100% to bring a top price.

I checked my 30th Ed. Blue Book, which is last year's Ed. The 74 is worth $295 at 100%, $250 at 98%, $215 at 95%, with no values below that. There is a 25% premium for pre war production. They were made from 1939-1952.

Looks like a vintage Weaver scope. I'm not sure how much it would be worth. Sometimes those things sell better separated.

Yes, that's pretty high, especially given the extra holes in the receiver for the side mount.

At the NH auction in September a dealer had a 22 short Gallery WITH the rear peep and shell deflector for $400....he dropped to $350 which was a good deal...I have 3 in 22 short and I paid $400 for a 99%.....sorry but the extra holes kill it.....lucky to get $200....k

Blue Book has a 25% premium for .22 short.

This 74 will probably sell as a shooter, and looks to be in good shape. I still think I would remove the scope and try selling it on Ebay or some other venue. I'd let the rings/mount go with the gun, but photo them not attached to the gun. As a shooter in good condition, I'd think this rifle may sell in the $225 to $250 range. Guns shows may be a good possibility.

The scope, depending on demand for vintage Weavers could bring a few bucks. If it was mine, I'd be checking on line, i.e. Ebay, for similar items and how they sold.
