Absolutely - it's a not miss event.

George,

Kinda hard to imagine a really good time without you.

Even if you do have a suspicious connection to the Mafia.

And I don't mean that in a bad way.

And I also hope I'm not found in the East River with some cement boots on.

Delighted you are going to be back with us.

Many thanks for the pics.

Very typical of our hog hunts.

Good looking hogs, and pretty ugly guys.

But it sure as hell is not our fault. We are there to have a good time, and we do.

I hope you have a "stand" built in and get a bow to keep at your side. Take care of those pests!

stxhunter,

Got you in as a maybe. Lotta time to figure out if you can get away, and no pressure.

But I do hope you can join us.

You will be a great addition to our group of the unholy and unwashed.

But on the other hand, we do tend to shoot really well with really neat rifles.

I will be looking for some bow advice next year but I think they're safe this year (despite me pointing out the bambi-veal likeness of them to my wife smile )

Denny,
I hope you are planning on being there.

Just order that pistol, and you are good to go.

200 rounds of 300gr. XTPs on hand as well as another 200 rounds of 240gr. XTPs.

Ultradot on order.

Practice, practice, practice and hopefully resultant proficiency will be the deciding factor.

Denny.

Are noobs allowed to join into this?

Another question is about weaponry. I'd like to try out my Model 94 30-30 but is it enough for the hogs? Iron sights?

Thanks

That would be plenty. It would be great to have some Alaska representation.

Yes, 30-30 is enough gun for hogs Sir.

Wish I could say with certainty I could make it - but as always, it'd be a "as chance allows" trip for me.

Lot of folks I'd like to meet on this one (for various reasons)>grin< grin

Mako25,

You have at least until the first week of January to decide, assuming we don't fill up by then.

It would be a great Christmas present to you from(fill in the blank) that I'm sure you would be eternally grateful for.

Just a suggestion!!

rifle,

We have about 13 so far, with another 3-4 on the fence. The lodge we will be in will hold about 25.

Later this week I'll post a list of those who are planning to be at the Wilderness.

If you check out the Wilderness web site, you can get the distance from your home to there.

Hope you can make the hunt.
