And a very special one!! This is a present from all my youth group kids and their parents. They redid it and had a GSP etched on it for me, my new grouse gun!!!!!!!! 20 GA Stevens side-by modified/full. I have the BEST kids in my group, this really took me by surprise, I was speechless. I am still in awe of the thoughtfullness the kids showed getting this prior to season & having it redone. Thanks!! Some very special kids I have had the pleasure of hunting with. Several are aged out now, but we stay in contact & still hunt together.
KYwindage, understood but the gun was a gift & I love it. Plus the way I shoot, wouldn't matter anyway, LOL!

KYwindage, understood but the gun was a gift & I love it. Plus the way I shoot, wouldn't matter anyway, LOL! Thanks for sharing your story with us. It does my heart good to learn the young people responded to you in this way. Shotgun choke...you could always go with spreader loads if you so desire.

Wow! Must be a great bunch of kids to work with! Good to see they appreciate all your hard work and enthusiasm. If the grouse in your area are anything like ours in northern WI, a full/mod combination with 7 1/2's would be just about right!  WN

My Dad had that model and gauge shotgun. It was the shotgun I toted through the woods and fields of my youth. Congratulations, you most certainly earned it, as witnessed by your pupils.

If I had a gun cabinet full of British best s x s's, and if that gun had been given to me under those circumstances, that Stevens, without doubt, would be my favorite shotgun. Congratulations. You have something very special there.
