Shot eaters. A fork muley and a doe antelop. Also caught a few trout, but the water was really low and they were dying in some of the holes where there was no running water. Hope the rain last couple days helped them out.
The Drop Point worked exceptionally well on the antelop.

I can't say that I've ever seen that combination before. At first I didn't think I liked the look......at first......then I kept looking, it's growing on me. It's certainly practical and although I'm not normally a fan of mixing synthetic materials with natural I like the looks of these. Both patterns sure look like they'd be good users too.

Nice work as always!!! Are we going to met at Charles again this year? Bring some knives for me to choose from. I really like the smaller of the two. I'll be bringing my son with me this year before he deploys to Afghanistan. He will be taking the Olt combat knife you built for him. I would like for you to meet him.

Anxious to meet your son. I am sure the knife will service him well as it has others.
Just working on a "new" fighter that should work well in the field also.
I was just about to check and see if Charleys was in order this year. Since opener is Tues how about a Mon meet????
Ref the contrast. I was skeptical at first myself. Thought about it for a year or so. When I make something for myself with sheep horn, someone usually talks me out of it. I thought this might be rad enough that I wouldn't be asked to part with them.
