62.5 to 65, but yes I see what you are saying.

I suppose a 2.5 grain jump is a much bigger deal % wise with a smaller case.

But still I probably should have went 1 grain at a time.

a 2.5 grain bump for your 65 grain powder charge in your .264 is a 3.8 % increase.
a one grain bump for my 37 grain charge is a 2.7 % increase.
Its probably not a big deal, just slightly bigger steps .The trouble could come only when you get close to maximum ,and make 4% increases.
It pays to be cautious, espcially for a new handloader.

The first time ND has to pound the bolt open with a mallet & the primer pocket is blown out, he'll say "I see what they are talking about now."

I would strongly suggest a Remington action if you are going to be so flamboyant with your reloading practices ND. You can never be too safe. whistle

Scott, is the pacemaker something new for you or did you just get a new one?

I hope you aren't having any troubles.

campfire 700's are famous for shedding bolt handles.

Skane has a collection of them, he hunt's remington 700 sheds every spring after the snow is gone.

He must have hundreds of them.
