Just acquired a marlin 1892 22lr serial number 123xxx ,first year mfg for this model of 1895. This thing is in real nice shape stock has no cracks or chips and most of the bluing has turned to brown patina wit no pitting. The barrel has good rifling with some minor pitting. The only problem with it is it missing the magazine spring and follower, which I was able to order them from Wisner gun parts. Anybody have any experience with these?
