What kind of cushion do you guys that use elevated stands use? I have tried to find something that is comfortable and easy to carry so I can sit on the stand without fidgeting too much, but everything I have tried is either to big or not comfortable. Dont want to use anything that is inflatable, they leak air very easily.

I've got an inflatable seat cussion wuth a waist belt that I've carried for at least 5 years now. I've used it to sit on some otherwise un-sittable spots.
It's never leaked down on me and on tent type hunts I've used it for a pillow at night.
Something clever here.

I use a piece of gray/black styrofoam about 1 1/2 thick. Not only is it waterproof but is really comfortable. I use plastic cable ties to keep it in place.

Bleacher pads, 2 if needed, or garden kneeling pads, 2 if needed.
We actually just use used office chairs in our elevated stands...
But when we bowhunted only and out of tripods and the like it was the above pads basically.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Go to Walmart and buy the "Thermaseat" I've used them for prob 10yrs and haven't found anything better. It's a very soft neoprene like material and usually brown in color. I've had one that was about 2" thick and a couple that were about 1" thick. This years model that the WMs are carrying around here are about 1-1/2" thick.

I use a product called "The Hot Seat" similar to Reloader7RM's recommendation.

If the seat is large enough use a pad from a chair for a patio set. My ladder stand is a big game luxury box and the seat was large enough to accomodate one. It really keep me warm. Being one piece it kept the cold air off my back. It should also work if using any of the doulble stands.

I have an self-inflateable "air" cousion with a waist strap that works well. I also have a 2" foam cousion that I use. I like both.

I use a closed cell foam seat cushion about 1.25" thick that has been cut to fit inside my day pack against my back. Protects me from being poked by gear while hiking and comfortable to sit on.

I bought a foam cell "turkey seat" that has a thick butt pad and a thinnner back pad joined together with short velcro straps to act as a hinge. You can also take it apart and use each pad individually, with or without the waist strap. I use a lot of adjustable office chairs in my box stands, but I can also double up this turkey seat to make a "booster" for my kids to be able to see out of the windows. I got the seat at my local Tru-Value hardware store about 3-4 years ago.
Now with even more aplomb

I have one of these and love it. I use it for kayaking as well when I do something with long stretches in the kayak, like the Apostle Islands. http://www.rei.com/product/746401/rei-lite-core-sit-pad

I use a Thermaseat and love it. Closed cell foam and thick, like 1.5in.

I got mine at Fleet Farm a few years ago for around $15, IIRC.
I use it for turkey hunting too. It weighs nearly nothing so it's easy to carry around.

I won one of these in a raffle (Fatboy lite model), http://www.huntcomfort.com and it's the best cushion I've ever used. Not cheap though.
