The delima, Now there are 3 of us, which is a good thing but I do not want to haul a trailer.
I have a very nice 3" cabela's cot pad but to haul 3 would take up way to much space. Most of the self inflating are only 25" wide at most, not wide enough really. Need some cushin for our backs( kinda gimpy sometimes). Roll up small. Our cots are 32" wide.
Throw some ideas out. Would need to be able to handle Dec. NM weather so cold is a given.

Thanks..........Allen

A GI cot with a 2in thick Camprest works for me. Those GI cots are a royal PITA to put together but string up nice and tight. A pad on top of that makes a good bed.

3" foam pad for me. I'd leave something else home before I went without it, as a good nights sleep is crucial to a good hunt.

I recently bought a Cabelas outfitter pad. In the large size it fits me pretty well, and rolls up pretty small. I was sleeping on the ground and didn't have any issues with it.

If you can find one the "Therm-a-Rest Deer Camp Large Hunting Mattress" or the Elk Camp (elk camp is thicker). they are awesome. I use mine on a cot (extends over the sides), on the ground and even in a camper. Thermarest made them one year then discontinued them. Then everyone started closing them out.

3 hunters, 1 truck, winter?
No way!
You tag something, where's it going? On the roof?

I gave up on that move years ago.
If I take the Yota, a 5'x10 flat trailer. If I take 4 wheelers a full size truck and a 6'x20' flat bed.

On the original ? inflatable pads.
