Would someone like to date this Marlin 94 for me?
It's a 25-20 Hex barrel Short Rifle.
Tang marked MARLIN, MODEL 94 serial is 104xx.

Well, my first effort to locate it did not seem correct, as this search came up with 1885, which seems a bit odd for a Marlin Model 1894. Anyway, here is the link:

Perhaps because it is a 94 & not a 1894??

AFAIK, Marlin Model 1894's marked "Model 94" on the tang were ALL made from 1905-1933.

I would WAG yours as being from 1907

BTW - "hex" barrels were never put on rifles - only octagon barrels.
