When we got into position for the stalk, and I noticed my buck on the opposite side of the field. We drove around to the other side, so we could make the stalk. I had about a 150 yard stalk. The buck was lying down, along a cut in the bank. As I was trying to get my Bog pod set up, the buck got up and starting running, he was 100 yards broadside. I was able to get the cross hair in front of him, and dumped him. I was using a 7stw with 160 AB.

Thompson Center Impact, 250 grain Barnes SpitFire T EZ, with 100 grains of 777. Neck shot @ 20 yards from treestand. DRT, no tracking. I packed her out of the rugged area in an Eberlestock X-1. TTSX it left quarter sided hole behind the shoulder on the exit. The 270 win ROCKS Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better. This is a public land mulie Ron killed with a 243 Win/105 VLD. He made a great shot at 450yds and we got it all on video. Scott killed this great double drop tine buck after watching him all summer. He had last years sheads mounted and now has the buck. Private ground but the farmer allows most anyone access if you ask. John Burns I have all the sources. They can't stop the signal.
