Went to the preserve last week to do some bird work with Nitro, had not been a hunt in a couple days there. I put 3 quail out, shot the first & sent him for the retrieve.....he disappeared behind some cover & didnt come out.....hmmmm, called several times & nothing. He is not one to disobey & retrieves well so I went to take a look & find this....look close!

Here's a closer shot, I was pretty proud of my young boy to handle this so well between me calling, him on a retrieve -the bird he is pointing was a residual pheasant, AND he held on this while I flushed it! (I didnt shoot it, passedm he had enough pressure, LOL):
